Mediathread is an innovative, open-source platform for exploration, analysis, and organization of web-based multimedia content. D-Day Hour by Hour: This iPad-only app features an interactive timeline of the Normandy invasion, and includes graphics, videos, and texts - lots of primary sources. Student-friendly information and interface. Downside - cost is $4.99.

Scan Pages: This App is a built in scanner for your ipad or iphone. Use the camera to simply take a picture and it is automatically converted to a usable file for a PC which can then be uploaded to your website or projected onto a screen.

ImagetoText: This app takes a picture of text (Handwritten or typed), and using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, converts that text into .txt format for editing in word processing programs like Microsoft Word
